  • 77 residents

  • 25 residents per entering class (14 categorical, 1 peds neuro, 2 peds research, 2 triple board, 1 peds-genetics, 1 preliminary, 4 med-peds)

  • All subspecialties represented, with fellowships in almost all subspecialties

  • 60% of residents go on to fellowship training

  • Special Tracks such as Research, Global Health, and Human Rights and Social Justice

LOCATION

Overlooking Central Park at the intersection of East Harlem and the Upper East Side; unique location robust community based primary care experience while serving as a referral center for a diverse medically complex patient population;

CURRICULUM
  • 13 blocks/year

  • Night float on the floors and PICU

  • Blended learning which combines academic half days, noon conferences, and an asynchronous primary care curriculum.

  • 40% of time spent on electives in 2nd and 3rd year.

  • Robust weekly continuity clinic experience
